Emergency Relief Assistance
Emergency Relief Assistance is the provision of financial or material assistance to people in a financial crisis. It may be a one-off situation or it may be ongoing financial hardship.

The types of relief we provide are:
- Food: hampers, free bread
- Clothing: limited clothing and household linen may be available
- Bill Payment (gas, electricity,) paid by using vouchers to the billing company
- Free bread is available on Monday Wednesday and Thursday
- Information, advocacy and referral
- Work Development Orders
What do I need to do to qualify?:
- Identification – photo ID, accounts in your name
- Income statement – from Centrelink or your employer, for ALL people living with you
- You must live in Singleton and have been a resident for at least 3 months
- Only one (1) person per household will be assessed
- Available once every 3 months
- Bring any large accounts you have paid with you
- An appointment must be made – Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday ONLY 9.30am – 2 pm
