Work Development Orders
Work Development Orders (WDO) are a way to help people who can’t pay their fines. If you are eligible for a WDO, you can clear your fines with activities instead of money. You can do unpaid work, counselling, courses or treatment programs.

- Get a sponsor – Singleton Neighbourhood Centre Inc cannot sponsor you
- Agree to the activities you need to complete
- Complete and document your WDO hours
You are eligible, if you meet one or more of the following:
- Receive a Centrelink benefit
- Are in serious financial hardship
- Are homeless
- Have a serious addiction to drugs, alcohol or other substances
- Have a mental illness
- Have an intellectual disability
- Have cognitive impairment (such as autism, brain injury or dementia)
